Cities in Pinellas County FL
A residential community, the Town of Belleair in Pinellas County, is called home to nearly 4,100 full time residents, not taking into account our many number of winter friends. It was in the 1890's that this still growing community began to take form with Henry B. Plant, railroad pioneer, constructing the beautiful Belleview Hotel. There was a certain "rustic" appeal to this magnificent hotel, in 1897, when the doors opened, amenities such as boating, horseback riding, skeet shooting and bicycling were available upon request. The Belleview Biltmore Hotel still stands proud today. Today the charming Town of Belleair boasts 3 eighteen-hole golf courses, parks, pathways and many opportunities for commercial businesses. Relocating to the Town of Belleair promises a combination of ol' Florida charm, mixed with plenty of recreational activities and surrounded by some of the friendliest people around!
